Ive owned this jacket since I was little. Crazy how things stay in your life that way.
And look! My Rodarte for Target dress. I bought two others, which Ill definitely wear soon, but I had to put this on as soon as possible since I dont normally dabble in the color of baby blue and I wanted to try it out. Ill write more about the collection later.
I went to the flea market on Sunday and shot this photo:
I loved the colors.
By the way, I saw Avatar. Dont go see it. It was wayyy too much. James Cameron probably had a ball while making it. Oh, and Sam Worthington is fine.

I'm so glad that dress is charming on you. I'm an extreme hourglass and target dresses never fit me well. And they seem too cheaply made to alter them like I do others. But, baby blue on you it great.
That dress looks so great on you! My friends and went to Target yesterday and literally had to DEMAND that they unload the Rodarte from the back of the store so we could shop it-- our persistence paid off and it was totally worth it! That blue color is just intoxicating, no?

i think i know why. . some stuff was pretty corny and cliche .. it was like jurassic park meets pocahantas ..but i was so astounded by the graphics .... i loved it . for once i ddint care about characters although it wasnt altogether too bad, the story and plot i mean. i'll stop rambling. you are entitled to your own opinion right? taureans need to remind themselves ;)

And it's fine if you didn't like Avatar, but don't advise people not to see it. Let them decide for themselves. I loved it, I thought the details of nature and the planet and the culture were all beautiful. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Haha I saw Avatar in 3D Imax, had to sit in the second row of the theater because there were no seats left and it nearly blew my eyes out. Still thought it was worth seeing once though. Love that you paired the dress with a denim jacket!

I was in Target today trying on that very same dress. I couldn't find that awesome leopard print dress that Dakota Fanning wore in Teen Vogue, but I did find those cute floral print dresses and the lace ones too like that blue one with polka dots all over. That was my favorite too. But is it worth it do you think? I had some doubts about the little cotton-y polka dots on the bottom part; too ridiculous perhaps? Anyways, I did buy their mom-high-waisted shorts and I love them.

hmmm.. i quite loved it, wasnt expecting to at all but absolutely did. i totally get the criticisms of it - cliche story plot - but you can boil anything down to a cliche. as an exercise in expanding the potential of filmic expression and audience immersion... i think it succeeded - for me at least. i was so blown away by the graphics of the film, outwardly gasping and smiling like a fool at the beauty of it all - did you see it in 3d? if not that could be the rift.
